I’ve been wanting to do something with concrete for a long time now. Concrete DIY's have been trending for a while now and I know this idea might be a little outdated, but I wanted to still give it a shot anyway.
DIY Wood Block Photo Stand
I love all the products from Artifact Uprising. I’ve made several photobooks for my close friends and they are always a hit. I especially love this wood block they sell along with photo prints. Since I prefer the photobook rather than prints, I decided to make my own wood block photo stand for my photobook.
DIY Clay Dishes
I took a ceramics class a few years back and I’ve always wanted get back into it, but for the lack of time and money I just haven’t. In the meantime, I thought I could use clay to make some simple objects. I love the little trays, bowls and objects from places like Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, West Elm etc. and took some of their designs as inspiration. I love how simple this DIY is and you can really personalize these dishes to your own personality or to friends.
DIY Notebook Cover
I have a confession to make. I have an over the top obsession with notebooks. I am a total list maker and note taker. I can’t imagine how life would be without notebooks and little papers with notes thrown around my house. I’m also a sucker for really cutely design notebooks and cannot deny myself a walk down the notebook aisle at target. Sometimes I can’t even remember which notebook I wrote a particular list in.
